Indian Bummer

Today the Tribe officially added Austin Kearns to 40-man roster and DFAed Jordan Brown to make room for him.  Rats.  Jordan's a hard nosed player with a good contact stroke and gap power.  He's a first class guy.  Obviously, none of this mattered to the Indians.

Also, from the "who gives a crap" file, the Indians sign RHP Doug Mathis and acquire RHP Joe Martinez from the Pirates for a PTBNL.  The former gets a spring invite, the latter is expected to compete for a rotation spot.  Great.
