Take Me Home Aer Lingus

Can you imagine having to explain this sketch to someone with delicate sensibilities or, like, you mother-in-law? If it happens, Skype me in. ;-j

Funkin' GoNuts

It's the Blakeshow's weekend and, fittingly, he won the dunk contest with this rim-rattler

While this reverse by Demar DeRozan has been described as the most difficult in basketball history

And this double throwndown by JaVale McGee was my personal favorite

Flee To the Cleve

Love it.

Longhorn Let Down

Oh my God, Texas is unbelievable, baby!  They're awesome!  I'd vote 'em #1 with 3 losses.  Hell, they lost to Nebraska.  I'll vote 'em #1 with 4 losses.  Only the elite, la creme de la creme, could even hope to compete with the mighty Longhorns.  The 'Huskes are going dancing.  Even if this was their only win, they'd be a shoe in.  Cuz they beat Texas!  That's the best team in the nation, baby!  Better than anybody else by far!  Jordan Hamilton is the best player in the history of the game, baby!  His 3-16 shooting just shows how spectacular he is!  I voted for him to go into the Hall of Fame this year, baby!  They say there are no great teams in the NCAA this year?  What about Texas, baby?  They're so good I'd vote 'em #1 with 22 losses!  No joke.  No joke.  They've got a diaper dandy point guard.  Cory Jospeh, baby!  Fouled out with 1 assist!  A boy among men.  So good.  So good.  They shouldn't even play the tournament this year.  Texas is that good!  I can't wait until Monday when they finally get their respect.  I mean, they beat Kansas in Lawrence!  Unbelievable, baby! Texas will be #1, undisputed, all the polls!  AP!  ESPN!  RPI!  POS!  MFI!  Polls that don't even exist, Texas is still #1.  Holy Jesus,  Texas Texas Texas Texas!  I just jizzed my pants.

Shut the fuck up.

The Greatest Pitcher Who Never Was?

Matt Harrington is definitely a candidate.  For those of you who dig the obscure and unique stories of baseball, check out this ESPN: Outside the Lines piece on the former #7 overall pick who never pitched an inning for an MLB organization.  Or, if you're a lazy POS, here's his WikiPedia page.

And, the quote of the day, from Mark Teixeira to quash any rumors that he will be dealt for Albert Pujols, "I've got that no-trade [clause] for a reason. I'm not going anywhere. I'm going to be buried in these pinstripes."

Cheers

NBA Fans Have Bieber Fever

The MVP of the All-Star weekend celeb game.  His team lost.  That's what you get for letting half a million screaming tweens make the decision via text message.  I'll say that Romeo Miller looked like a bit more than than a favor to Demar DeRozan.

As expected, the Indians outrighted Joe Martinez today, clearing a space on the 40-man for Orlando Cabrera.  Martinez remains in big league camp as a non-roster invitee.

Here is the IPI Indians' organizational depth chart.  I won't say that I agree with every slotting, but I do dig Jared Goedert on the MLB roster.

And a little video of Daniel Norris, who will be a prime target of the Tribe in June's draft -
