Fair Warning

That's what the NFL concedes that it needs to provide players with before handing down suspensions for helmet-to-helmet hits.  Even so, the league has levied some hefty fines for a few infractions over the weekend.  Brandon Meriweather owes $50k, James Harrison $75k for his attacks on Josh Cribbs and Mohammad Massaquai and, in what I think is a real wrist slapper, Dunta Robinson $50k for the following missile-shot that concussed DeSean Jackson.

Not 4:20?

So, the NLCS game in Frisco has a scheduled first pitch at 4:19 EST this afternoon.  First off, I did not know this until mere minutes ago and, thus, I assume none of you did either.  Also, I'm sure this is your first destination for all things awesome and, thereby, you would have completely missed the game without this PSA.  Lastly, I find it odd to start a game at 4:19 and not a minute later.  After all, the Grateful Dead had their origins on Haight-Ashbury in San Fran.  They know about these things.

And don't forget the the Phils pitching coach is Rich Dubee.  ;-j

Whistle Stops

The NBA has banned these shoes!  They increase vertical leap!  Buy them here!  Wait, there's so much traffic that you can't actually get on the site right now.  Gives you time to save the 300 bills.

Elin's getting $110mil from Tiger.  Most think she could have bled more if she wanted to be a bitch about it.  Good form ex-Mrs. Woods.  At least someone out there understands that $100mil+ is enough.

Add Cord Phelps' name to the list of potential Opening Day third basemen for the Indians.  He's diggin' the Arizona Fall League to take reps at the hot corner.

The Bravos released Melky Cabrera.  All of you who can't pronounce "milk" proeperly, look at his name as the counter example.

I'd tell you that Milton Bradley has said that he's over his tiff with Wedgie from the good ol' days on the lake, but I refuse to give Eric Wedge any more space here.

WFNY - "I think we all knew that Lee was good, but can anybody have imagined that he would turn into Sandy Koufax? That’s what he is folks. He is the best left-handed pitcher in the game and it’s not even close."

Cavs and Browns notes to come.

Cheers.

No, I won't do it.  Puns are the lowest form of wit.  I just felt like a perky blond.  She sings and dances UK style.
