Irresponsible Journalism

Journalism, heh.  I know it's past a stretch.  Regardless, Jon Gruden neither accepted nor ever had any intention of accepting the Miami Hurricanes coaching job.  Living life is all about learning from our mistakes.  My error was in believing the flood of tweets and a few (now understood to be less than credible) websites that claimed Gruden to Miami was a done deal.  Logically, I cannot understand why anyone would indicate confirmation if, in fact, there is none.  I suppose there is some fame to found in reporting any story first, but the slim chance of guessing correctly is far outweighed by the loss of credibility attached to false reporting.  Again, the lines between fantasy and reality blur.  The demarcations must again become well defined.

Cheers.
